Lepidosaphes ulmi
(L.) (Hemiptera: Coccoidea:
Diaspididae) αναφέρονται για πρώτη φορά ότι προσβάλλουν την τριανταφυλλιά ροδελαίου,
Rosa dam-
ascena
, στην Isparta της Τουρκίας. Τα κοκκοειδή αυτά θεωρούνται ικανά να προκαλέσουν ζημιά σε
καλλιέργειες της τριανταφυλλιάς ροδελαίου.
